...and he's regretting now that he didn't press this further with firefly while they were on the subject last week. maybe things could have happened differently. less blood on both her hands and yves's. not that thinking about that now helps anything. ]

...Anyway, we did still find both killers this week, and neither of 'em are gonna have to worry about gettin' forced into hurting people again after this. Don't need to beat yourself up too badly, as long as you've learned from the mistakes.
[ ah... the pat at his back comes as a surprise and he tenses for a moment before he does relax. it's... nice. it's nicer than he deserves, but he's truly too greedy to push away the kindness right now. he sighs out heavily ]
