Welcome to the opening of the newly remodelled bar, now a proper tavern with a full restaurant! Basilio and Fidelio are both dressed up nicely for the occasion and happy to greet you! Eupha and Yves get to be seated and place their orders first as the VIPs of the day, followed by Jiaoqiu and Taair. Enjoy the best cooking Euchronia has to offer!

Sometime after everyone has their food, Fidelio will go to the stage and pick up the microphone to sing a song — he's no Tony Bennett, but he has a nice voice and puts a lot of feeling into it (though he'll get a little pink and turn the other way if you look at him too long, stop that).

[ to be fair he actually does really like that tony bennett song he just sang and put a lot of thought into picking it for the occasion, but it's true that another singer's songs are the first to come to mind when he gets this request. ]

...Well. Don't have any background music for it, so I don't know how good it'll actually sound, but. S'pose I can try one of Lady Junah's songs.

[ he picks the microphone back up, and after a moment of hesitation and a deep breath, sings as good of a solo a capella rendition of this song as he can manage.

if anyone in this room actually knows how to read music they might notice that the music notes on his halo match up perfectly with the first few measures of this song he's singing. ]

like i imagine the rest of the group is, taair listens, enraptured - fidelio has his whole attention, resting his chin in his hand. about halfway through, he does close his eyes, and his head bobs a little in time with the acapella rendition, just... enjoying it.

and by the end - he claps, of course, his emotions warm and bright. interest, fascination, pure, warm joy and a little pride? you did it! ]

[ there's a lightness and clarity to his emotions while he's singing, but as soon he puts the microphone back down and registers the applause and the accompanying wave of warm feelings coming his direction, his own twist back into a jumble of pleased and flattered and grateful and embarrassed and really fond of junah. ]

Ah... Well, I mean, it's Lady Junah's song, so...

[ she should be the one to get the credit, probably??

...still, it's nice to hear, and his face gets a little pinker as he steps away from the stage, rubbing his neck. ]

Then a beautiful song by a wonderful songstress, well performed by a wonderful singer. Bravo, bravo!

[ cute... the fondness for junah is so charming and cute too, and taair props his chin in his hands, delighted - and even more so, when he takes the compliment! yay. just pinging happiness emotions! he will not embarrass fidelio too much more after that though, even if it is very genuine, and instead just flashes him a warm smile.

that and, of course, he nudges out the seat beside him and pushes a water over, then pats the seat. come, sit! ]
